         Samaria en Judaea

Judaea of יהודה in het Hebreeuws, is de oude, historische en hedendaagse naam van het bergachtige zuidelijke deel van Israël.
Samaria of שֹׁמְרוֹן in het Hebreeuws, is een historische en Bijbelse naam die wordt gebruikt voor de centrale regio van het land Israël, begrensd door Galilea in het noorden en Judaea in het zuiden.

Tel Shilo is an ancient archaeological site in the central part of Samaria, historically significant as the biblical city of Shiloh. It was an important religious center where the Tabernacle stood before the First Temple was built in Jerusalem. Excavations have revealed remains from the Bronze and Iron Ages, offering insight into early Israelite settlement and worship practices

Hebron

Hebron is de plaats van de wortels en oorsprong van de Joodse natie. Het was de stad waar koning David zeven en een half jaar regeerde voordat hij Jeruzalem veroverde, en de plaats van de graven van de aartsvaders - Abraham, Isaak en Jacob - en de matriarchen - Sara, Rebekka en Lea.
